Richest Ghanaian Musicians 2016/2017 Top 10 also Known as Richest musicians in Ghana 

We have looked at the Richest Nigerian Musicians and we were able to do justice to the article , today we want to check out the Richest Ghanaian Musicians 2016/2017. It is no longer news that most Ghanaian musicians are currently making huge successes and we expect them to join the list of  richest African musicians sooner than later .

Looking at Ghana music industry today, you would notice that several Ghanian musicians are currently enjoying the best moment of their career because they are releasing alot of hit songs , alot of international collaborations and getting more international recognition .

It is very certain that the Richest Ghana Musicians have seen alot of ups and down but they didn’t give up , that is what we call determination .Most people out there are thinking all Ghana Musicians make their huge income from the the sales of their music CD’s only but how can that be possible when the level of piracy in the entertainment market is on the high side . 1. Daddy Lumba
Daddy Lumba is the Currently richest musician in Ghana . The Ghanian musician as about 25 music albums to his credit.

2. Kojo Antwi
On the number two spot we have Kojo Antwi who is strongly holding down the number two spot . Kojo Antwi is Popularly called.”Mr. Music Man”, Kojo has grown in the music industry to the extent that no Ghanaian promoter can pay him at the moment. Kojo Antwi is the organiser of an annual show every 24th December which is usually a grand gathering of great and rich men . The Ghana Musician has over 22 Albums to his name .

3. Amakye Dede
Amakye Dede started his music career as early as 1973 and he has become one of the most respected Ghanian musician . He is popularly called “Iron boy”, “the highlife maestro” and “Abrantie (Gentleman).

4. Sarkodie
On the number four spot is rapper Sarkodie the beast and i strongly beleive that most of you would be angry that this Ghanian top rapper is placed down to this level . Let me give a brief introduction of this rapper because he only need only intro . Sarkodie is a Ghanaian musician who happens to be one of the best rapper in Ghana , he has  attained both African and international prominence.

5. Okyeame Kwame
Kwame Nsiah Appau better known as Okyeame Kwame, is one of the richest musicians in Ghana. When he started his music career his parents kicked against his career choice and wanted him to be a Doctor but his dream was to become a professional musician which he has eventually actualised.

6. R2Bees
R2Bees is a Ghanaian hip-hop/hiplife group made up of two young men. They are named Faisal Hakeem (Paedae da Pralem) and Rashid Mugeez (Mugeez).This duo are that kind of singers that take their career more like joke and they are not very serious with their career which is a clear indication that they don’t depend on it for survival compaer to other musicians .

7. Samini
At the number seven spot is Emmanuel Andrews Samini who is popularly known with the stage name Samini. His debut single was Linda, was released and he subsequently appeared on other successful singles by other artistes.

8. D-Black
His real name is Desmond Kwesi Blackmore but his stage name is D-Black. This young man is said to be  one of the most hardworking Ghanaian musicians but he is yet to attain a better ranking .

9. Reggie Rockstone
Don’t get it twisted , Reggie Rockstone popularly called Grandpapa or Godfather of Hiplife, He owns ‘Django Bar’ and ‘Grandpapa’s  lounge/bar’which he opened with the money he got from the deal he signed with Globacom .

10. Kwaw Kese
At the spot is Emmanuel Kofi Botwe, a.k.a, Kwaw Kese . This singer is from a very poor background but his love for music pushedhim to a greater height . Kwaw Kese started singing when he was still in junior secondary school. He became famous after the  release of his first hit, Oye Nonsense on the compilation album, The Execution Diary. Kwaw Kese has worked with other prominent musicians like Wyclef Jean, 2Face Idibia, Professor J of Tanzania, Sarkodie, Brymo, Memphis Bleek, etc.
